Urban trees play a vital role in adding a sense of life and vibrancy to towns and villages across Wicklow. They also have important positive impacts on air quality and mental and physical wellbeing. I recently had the pleasure of introducing my latest Private Members Bill which is aimed at protecting trees in urban landscapes from being unnecessarily cut down.
